D2A2: Connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor
D2A2 is an express coach service connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor. The service is powered by the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan and operated by Michigan Flyer. Book your ride today for just $6 one-way.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 8, D2A2 will add new weekday and weekend pickup and drop-off times, expanding its service hours and providing greater flexibility for riders to travel between both cities.
D2A2 does not operate on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day.
D2A2's Ann Arbor stop has been temporarily moved due to construction. The new stop is located at 500 E. Washington Street, between State and Division Streets.
Effective immediately, riders can now travel with their e-bike or e-scooter on D2A2. The battery — which may not exceed 750 watts — must be removed, placed in a carrying case, and brought on board to ride.
The RTA has partnered with Transit app to provide riders in Southeast Michigan with a free upgarde to Transit Royale. Get instant access to more routes, fare payment, personalized features, and more.
Discounts are available to frequent riders. Riders can purchase 10 passes for $50 ($5 one-way) or 50 passes for $100 ($2 one-way). Passbook holders are encouraged to book in advance to reserve their seats.
