Connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor
D2A2 is a pilot express bus service connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI. The new bus service is an idea created by the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) and operated by Michigan Flyer. (RTA) has announced their Detroit to Ann Arbor Express Bus Service (D2A2), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide), is extending weekend service hours. The service will provide trips between the two communities throughout the day, from 7:30 AM to Midnight.
The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan
(RTA) has announced their Detroit to Ann Arbor Express Bus Service (D2A2), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide), has returned. As of October 18, 2021, the service will once again provide hourly trips between the two communities for a little over 16 hours a day Monday to Friday (5:45 a.m.-11:00 p.m.), and limited service on Saturday and Sunday.
D2A2 will not operate on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day.
