Connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor
D2A2 is an express bus service connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI. D2A2 is a service of the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA) and operated by Michigan Flyer. Click here to learn more.
The RTA has partnered with Transit app to upgrade Southeast Michigan riders to Transit Royale for free! With a free Royale upgrade, riders can view more trip options and plans, pay fares, unlock new profile features and more.
D2A2 offers travel pass options for people who travel frequently between Detroit and Ann Arbor. A book of 10 passes is available for $50 ($5 one-way) and a book of 50 passes is available for $100 ($2 one-way).
Service on March 28 will be impacted because of road closures. The Detroit stop will move to 400 Bagley St. — in front of the Leland — for the entire day. The Ann Arbor stop will move to E William St. between 4th and 5th Avenues from noon and 4:30 p.m.
All passengers with prior reservations have been notified of the schedule changes.
D2A2 will not operate on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.
