Connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor
D2A2 is a pilot express bus service connecting Detroit and Ann Arbor, MI. The new bus service is an idea created by the Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan (RTA), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide) and operated by Michigan Flyer. The RTA announces the launch of our extended D2A2 summer service hours, set to commence on June 1, 2023, and continue all the way until September 3, 2023!
Starting June 1st, our shuttles will operate on an expanded schedule.
From Monday to Sunday, the last shuttle will now depart from Detroit at 11:55pm and arrive in Ann Arbor at 1:00am. Saturday and Sundays, the final shuttle will depart Ann Arbor at 10:45pm and arrive in Detroit at 11:45pm.
D2A2 will not operate on the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Memorial Day, July 4 and Labor Day.

(RTA) has announced their Detroit to Ann Arbor Express Bus Service (D2A2), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide), is extending weekend service hours. The service will provide trips between the two communities throughout the day, from 7:30 AM to Midnight.
The Regional Transit Authority of Southeast Michigan
(RTA) has announced their Detroit to Ann Arbor Express Bus Service (D2A2), in partnership with the Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (TheRide), has returned. As of October 18, 2021, the service will once again provide hourly trips between the two communities for a little over 16 hours a day Monday to Friday (5:45 a.m.-11:00 p.m.), and limited service on Saturday and Sunday.
