Erica Robertson is the Deputy Director of the Detroit Children’s Fund (DCF).  Erica has made a personal commitment to spending the second half of her career driving systemic change that will help change the life trajectory for Detroit children and break the cycles of intergenerational poverty. Erica believes education is one of the key change levers. Her current focus at DCF is helping improve the education systems in the City of Detroit to provide quality education opportunities to all Detroit children.

Prior to joining Detroit Children’s Fund, Erica was a member of the KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools Executive Team, where she was responsible for Strategy, Data, and Technology for the region. Erica also brings seventeen plus years of private sector experience as a Strategic Change Executive, with a results driven track record working in the field of management consulting with Accenture and driving strategy and operations in private equity. More recently at Nike Inc., as a certified change management leader, Erica helped lead the successful Reorganization of the Nike Inc. Western Europe 2012 Effort streamlining Nike’s European Business into a Category Offense and she successfully launched the Change Management Center of Excellence for Western and Central Europe as the European Director. Erica holds a BA from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor in addition to an MBA from U of M. She is also a current Vanderbilt Doctoral Candidate, in the the Peabody School of Education. Erica is a veteran of the US Navy and native Detroiter whose mission is to prove the possible for all Detroit children.
